Lights Timing crippling flow

The lights are poorly timed and stop the roundabouts flow of over 40 cars immediately to allow one car through the centre of the roundabout onto the M4. Traffic backs up the SDR and Chepstow Road for lights changing red to prioritise the very few over the many. Can the sensors have a delay before action 15-20 seconds longer?
