Green space on Llanedeyrn road is getting ruined

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 17:25, Thu 27 June 2024

Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6163953.

Cars are consrantly parking on the grass. This has been reported many times, but nothing is getting done about it. There are other areas of Cardiff where green spaces are being protected by wooden stakes - Ty Gwyn road has signage. Why can't the same be done here?

  • I'm not sure why the council do not want to help protect this green space from drivers who seem to think it's ok to park across the grass. The tree roots will be getting damaged, the grass turns into a mud bath, and any spring flowers get flattened.

  • Cars are still parking on the grass. All we need is some small wooden stakes around the outside and a sign.
