Catchpit is full of silt

PLEASE would you inspect and deal with this problem. The catchpit, dug by OCC, is now full of silt and, in the event of heavy rain, is likely to cause FLOODING to the two cottages at the foot of Church Lane,Pishill. I have reported this twice but you have responded today saying that no action has been taken but whilst I accept this, the situation is not improving and something definitely needs to be done to mitigate the problem.

August 2024 - This catch pit is still full of silt to within 12" of the road surface. PLEASE inspect and arrange for urgent emptying, digging out, or generally rectifying. The problem could easily be severe in the event of moderate rainfall, when the lane would flood with damage possibly occurring to Foxglove Cottage and Tanglewood House (formerly Pishilbury Cottage) RG9 6HJ

I understand that the catch pit has been pumped out and the water removed, but the SILT remains and will contribute to the strong possibility of flooding where the Lane 'dips' in front of Pishilbury (now Tanglewood Cottage) and Foxglove Cottage. PLEASE would you dig out the SILT.
