Investigating
NOT carried out
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category by Bill Major at 16:52, Wed 26 June 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6158720.
The drainage problem has NOT been addressed. This drainage problem has been in progress prior to 2020. On each the report was noted "it has been passed to the relevant department for investigation" Following which NO ACTION ha been taken . It is not an excuse to blame recent (2024) weather for this problem. It just needs someone to take proper action and find out what is wrong. So far no-one has suffered injury or death. If it does happen it will be the Counties fault.

But of course the council won't take any responsibility when someone is killed. The state of the council these days is horrendous. Time to stop complaining and elect better councillors.

After the rains between 10th and 12th september 2024, this patch got flooded blocking both lanes leaving the roundaboit at that point.
This happens every rainfall and leaves the area blocked for a whole day after the rain passes.

This is the state of the council in 2024. Painting rainbows galore and tackling the"climate crisis" but cannot unblock a drain.
