Dip in road surface right across the road
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 17:23, Fri 3 April 2015
Sent to Suffolk County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 615776.
In Warren Hill Road Woodbridge, between numbers 24 and 29, a trench was cut right across the road for a service pipe (probably water) some years ago. It was made good at the time and subsequently re-tarmaced, but gradually the backfill must have subsided and there is now a pronounced dip about 10 - 15cm deep. It is getting worse and several people have complained about it, both car owners and neighbours, especially when buses and heavy lorries bump their suspension.

The Council have been and looked at the problem, sprayed some marker paint on the road, and said that it will be fixed in 3-4 months with other problems on Warren Hill Road. The delay is due to the need to re-route the buses while the work is done.

The council responded a couple of weeks ago saying that they considered the case closed as they had booked a repair to be done in 4-6 weeks time. Repair still not done, but I will give them another month.
