Large Unknown Vehicle Parked in Residential Area & Blocking Driveways

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction blocking access category anonymously at 04:59, Sun 23 June 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6141649.

A Large Unknown Vehicle Removal Car Parked in Residential Area & Blocking Driveways. Driver unknown. Driving out of Royston Walk has also become unsafe due to being unable to see upcoming vehicles from the left when exiting road. The large vehicle is parked on the residential road regularly for days or even weeks at a time. The vehicle also parks right in front of homes, therefore taking up two to three potential parking spaces for local residents in an area where parking is already significantly scarce, due to it being a main road. The large vehicle is also unsightly and blocks the view from all direction. Vehicle has been spotten parked in the nearby Car wash/ garage a few times.

  • If it is your vehicle, you must know that it parks on and off the pavement depending on parking availability and if it is carrying another vehicle or not. The greatest concern is not only the taking up of three parking spaces in the area, which is of high demand by residents due to the road being a high traffic area, rather the dangerously blocking of peoples view whether cyclists or cars when exiting junctions. This vehicle has been a concern and nuisance in the area for many months.
