Illegal/dangerous parking

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 10:02, Mon 30 March 2015

Sent to Cherwell District Council 3 minutes later

Illegal and dangerous parking on Lower Cherwell Street is becoming intollerable. Pedestrians are constantly forced to walk in the road due to commercial and private vehicles parking on the pavements. Drivers have to carefully weave around commercial and private vehicles who are parked on the yellow lines. Residents of Cherwell Wharf have no clear vision when existing their residential parking area due to commercial and private vehicles parked on the pavement and yellow lines. Having to pull out blindly onto the road results in dangerous situations with other road users and pedestrians. Illegal parking has always been a problem I've witnessed over the past four years, however it has become far worse over the past few months.

  • No updates there! Still have to leave our car park in a blind spot and hope for the best! All the pedestrians are forced to walk on the road where they are sometimes invisible to the other drives because of the cars parked on the double yellow on the both sides of the road!
