Dangerous rotten trees A338

Willow trees opposite Long Acre, A338, East Hanney. In today's winds a rotten branch snapped out and fell in the live carriageway bringing traffic to a sudden stop. the branch is approx 4" diameter and 6'-8' long. many more of the tops of these trees are in a similar rotten condition. Tree survey is required and probable pollarding.

Further pieces of branch have fallen recently. The matter has now been raised with the parish council.
