Allotment hedges forcing pedestrians into road

Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:19, Wed 19 June 2024

Sent to Stockport Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6128722.

The allotment on Nelstrop Road North has a row of hedges on the main road (facing Barlow Road) which grow fast in summer and start to hang over into the pavement. This blocks the route and forces people into the road to get past without being scratched by them. The pavement is very narrow here and cars speed along the road making it difficult and dangerous to walk down this route, especially if you're disabled or have children or dogs.
