Much needed litter bin missing

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6123059.

On the corner of The Meadway and Windsor Drive, behind the clothes recycling bins, the litter bin is now missing, causing litter to be discarded around the site

  • Thank you for your enquiry. Given that there is already provision nearby, the shopping parade, we will not be looking to install any new bins at this stage. The area around the recycling banks are attended to on a daily basis.

  • If you are not replacing the litter bin then please remove the unsightly backing plate see picture. Disagree with the decision not to replace. People bringing recycling in eg plastic bags etc need somewhere to place these bags as they should not go in the recycling containers. Please re-examine
