Geotechnical work vans completely blocking footpath
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 16:59, Fri 27 March 2015
Sent to Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 612212.
All this week this company, Geotechnical, have allowed their drivers( upto 7 vans at a time!) to illegally drive on(traffic law offence), and block public right of way pavement (traffic law offence). This is a long term ongoing construction so could something be done to put an end to their illegal, anti-social and dangerous parking. Office contact number on vans was called and staff were asked to contact crews so head office is aware, manager on work site was than contacted and was asked to move the vans. That was at beginning of week and every day since the vans have continued to drive along, and block, path. see other fixmystreet posts. This is the only road into Milton Heights, there is no path on other side of road, children going to/from school HAVE to use this path as there is no alternative. This path is outside HOME FARM TRUST which have many residents that have mobility problems THEY HAVE TO USE PATH THEY HAVE NO ALTERNATIVE. I will post more pics on updates, please council and Police view the the updates for pics.

Geotechnical multiple vans blocking long stretch of path, this particular van driver also likes to park right on a junction presumably in the hope of a multiple kill rather than just a pedestrian or child by blocking both path and site of drivers pulling out..
