Overgrown grass blocking roundabout view on 70mph road.

Overgrown vegetation blocking drivers view heading east on the a66 as shown on the map. Dangerous due to the vegetation obscuring visibility of traffic entering/ on the roundabout approaching from the right hand side.

  • Thank you for your email of 17 June 2024 about visibility obscured by trees on the A66 heading east. We understand your concerns and appreciate you taking the time to contact us about the issue.

    We've been to site and can confirm there are no safety issues with the current visibility from overhanging trees at Little Burdon roundabout.

    We will however continue to monitor the area and will address any concerns as this continues to grow.
