Damage to green corridor protective barrier
Reported via mobile anonymously at 16:17, Mon 17 June 2024
Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6118469.
5 nights ago a drunk driver ploughed his BMW into to protective fencing around the green corridor to the rear of Chestnut Avenue in Montrose street. The driver demolished 4 metal supports and they proceeded to vandalise the railing and dump them all into the bushes. I retrieved 3 metal supports and both lengths of railing (they are hidden behind lamppost 55 so the local travellers don't take them). We now have a gap the length of 2 houses behind 10&11 Chestnut Avenue and there is a keen interest from travellers to pitch their caravans on. If they do this all the little children that play on the grass will no longer be able to do so and all our lives will be miserable
