Pavements and gutters need sweeping
Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing and Litter category anonymously at 15:19, Mon 17 June 2024
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6118107.
The mechanical cleaner managed to sweep some of the gutters this morning. However the whole of the section of Lennard Rd closest to the sation has heavily parked cars without any space inbetween . This therefore needs sweeping manually. There is also litter spread across the pavement left after Fridays bin collection. This road is never properly cleaned .

No action appears to have been taken . There is still a lot of litter, cans and debris both on the pavements and in the gutters. The standard of street cleaning is totally unacceptable and needs more careful monitoring. Someone manages to keep Penge High street really clean. What a shame this standard cant be replicated in the surrounding roads .

The pavement and gutters are only ever partially cleaned. The mechanical sweeper only clears the sections that it can reach . There are weeds at the pavement edges and parts of the gutters and pavements have rubbish and debris. This service needs more careful monitoring.
