Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:06, Sun 16 June 2024
Sent to Solihull Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6113951.
The resident on the corner has knocked down the boundary wall and rebuilt and in so doing has cut down the street name plate. The brick face is also protuding out on to the public highway which is an obstuction and a risk for people walking into it. The owner also parks a number of cars on the footway on the radius, including HGV's, which both obstruct the highway and visibility out of the junction. Under section 137 of the Highways Act 1980, it is illegal to obstruct the whole or part of the width of a public path.
