Giant Hogweed Infestation

Between the Newcraigall and the Oldcraighall junctions of the A1 (both before and after the QMU junction) there are a large number of giant Hogweed plants in flower on the eastbound verge.

  • National cycle route 1. The section from Newcraighall park heading towards the Queen Margaret University is an utter disgrace. The weeds and trees are so overgrown, this has literally become a person route and an accident waiting to happen.
