Overgrown vegetation encroaching onto public right of way adjacent to 15 Little Thrift Petts Wood

The area of land adjacent to the public footpath (FP120) has been allowed to become very overgrown and this is now beginning to encroach onto the public right of way.

This overgrown vegetation is mainly ivy and thorny blackberry bushes which are hazardous to walkers, their dogs and wild life alike. Please can this area of be cleared by informing the owners to tidy it up by cutting down and removing the overgrown vegetation.

The land is owned by the adjacent property at 15 Little Thrift Petts Wood BR5 1NQ.

  • Still not dealt with yesterday - land is still overgrown and brambles encroaching onto the footpath. This makes it dangerous for pedestrians and dog walkers who use this public footpath every day. Please can you chase the responsible party to attend to this issue.

  • Inspected 23/07/24, additional cut back made to brambles that were overhanging the footway at location. Thankyou for bringing this to our attention.
