Pavement suffocating tree

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:00, Sat 15 June 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6111261.

The hole for the tree outside No 67-69 Bishops Avenue is too small and suffocates the tree. It needs widening to save the tree. The placement is sufficiently wide to allow the widening of the hole and still to leave plenty of space for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc.

  • Thanks for taking action. However, the "fix" seems to be identical to what was there before, with the pavement going right up to the tree. Will this be fixed? Thank you.
