Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6100871.

Just about opposite Vicerons Place, Bishop's Stortford CM234EG is the Marne Public House. A covered walk way to the Sainsburys carpark. This covered walk way stinks of dog pee, excrement on the pathway, sick, cigarette butts and is just plain filthy. This area is an absolute pit. Unkept garden verges. We the public have to walk our children to Thorley Pre School after parking in the Sainsbury carpark. If this were my Pub I would have this area cleaned up, but is it Sainsbury's that are responsible in some way. From the outside the Marne looks a right pit.

  • This is an ongoing issue caused by dog walkers, smokers, litter bugs, the pub and the persons responsible who don't clean this public walk through. The area stinks of dog pee. Butt's from pub smokers and litter. The area is a disgrace. The pub could take responsibility for their area probably along with Sainsbury's and the Council. The looks like unkept.
