Hedges encroaching into road

Reported via Android in the Vegetation Encroachment category anonymously at 15:54, Wednesday 12 June 2024

Sent to Isle of Wight Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 16269846.

The hedges directly opposite the entrance to Gurnard Pines are overgrown and encroaching into the carriageway which at this location is narrow, has no footpath, and is a three way roundabout junction. Traffic travelling along Cockleton Lane towards Northwood is forced out to the centre of the narrow road. There is also an footpath entrance to a communal field behind this hedge ( Old School Meadow) and the entrance is very overgrown. I believe this is all owned by Gurnard Parish Council.
