Hedges / Trees converging onto public highway.

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category by David Stoner at 19:46, Tue 11 June 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6095512.

Verge opposite the houses located between 380-384 London Road, OX3 8DW has overgrown hedges converging onto the road by almost 1m in places from the edge of the verge. When cars are parked on the opposite side it becomes impossible to drive past without brushing past the mature hedges and therefore scratching the side of the car and resulting in damage. This is extremely annoying and expensive to spray paint an already new car. This problem can be fixed by cutting back the hedges to the kerb as should be, or by introducing double yellow lines to prevent the public from parking their vehicles there for free and not having to pay for parking at the Park & Ride.
