Blocked Drain

Reported via desktop in the Flooding/Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 14:30, Wed 5 June 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6067339.

There has been a blocked drain outside Westbury On Trym Primary Care Centre dating back to last year. I have previously reported this problem and the drain cover has been replaced but the drain has never been unblocked. As you can see from the photo, the drain is completely blocked to the top. In heavy rain, the water doesn't drain away and causes a huge puddle. This has been known to spread into the doctor's surgery and flood the foyer. This causes a huge concern as a slip hazard for our elderly and vulnerable patients when coming to the surgery.
