Nothing has been done, dead weeds remain along the length of Pickhurst Rise, in gutters, tree pits, wall/hedge lines, pavements etc.
Please do the job properly.

Hi. This is now over 6 weeks since being reported and still nothing has happened to clear the length of this road of weeds (dead or otherwise).
The street cleaning process isn’t fit for purpose. The gullies are swept by a mechanised road sweeper, but because of an ever-growing amount of parked cars, over 50% of the road remains unswept allowing weeds to proliferate.
Pavement sweeping is non-existent.
The weed spraying programme is a joke. I’ve observed the weed-spraying buggy hurtle along the pavement at break-neck speed, the majority of weeds aren’t sprayed.
You mention dieback should be removed by street cleaning, but this just isn’t happening, as there is no effective street cleaning.
I imagine you pay your contractors a fair amount (and we pay for this via council tax), but let’s be honest, the service being provided is absolutely rubbish.
Could someone in authority contact me to explain what is going wrong.
Thank you.

Good afternoon and thank you for your patience whilst teams are working towards the completion of this request. Teams have been making their way though Pickhurst Rise removing dead weeds from channels, footpaths and tree pits starting from the Pickhurst Lane End. Work is ongoing and will continue during each attendance. This report will now be closed.
