Reported via Android in the Other (non-highways) category anonymously at 12:52, Sun 2 June 2024

Sent to Fareham Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6050438.

Top of Funtley Hill, bushes and stinging nettles incredibly overgrown, issue every year but this is as bad as its been. Overgrown with no pass through for pedestrians, over hanging drive, also down the side is overgrown and breaking residential fencing and going through. Needs cutting back Urgently.

Updates

  • Still no update on this, this is so overgrown now it is coming accross our driveway and impossible for pedestrians to walk down with out brushing the bushes and nettles, highly disappointing especially as the verges adjacent have all been mowed

  • This has now been 4 weeks since my initial contact, I am yet to receive an update or more importantly the work that needs urgently to be carried out. There is no clear path for any pedestrians now and people are being stung by the stinging nettles as they walk past. This needs immediate action rather than tactical ignorance

  • No comments on this yet and no remedial action, I will now be logging this as a complaint.
