Speed camera on the corner of Tyndall’s Park Road and Whiteladies Road is faulty

Reported via mobile anonymously at 23:08, Tue 28 May 2024

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6032208.

The speed camera on the corner of Tyndall’s Park Road and Whiteladies Road is faulty - it’s flashing continuously, even when no cars are going past. In the time I was at the lights and turning the corner onto Whiteladies Road it went off over 10 times, which seems a tad excessive given that the only things going past it were students on foot.

Updates

  • Flashing continuously currently. Would be useful if a sack could be out over it to avoid having to be majorly worried.

  • Flashing continuously again

Posted by Tom Hathway at 20:03, Mon 2 September 2024

  • Flashing continuously - considered dangerous for drivers, as flahes every 10sec, with or without car passing in front.

  • Needs urgently fixing, per prior comments it caused a lot of disruption and worry tonight when I had to drive through.
