12 Goughs Lane, Knutsford. WA16 8QL

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 14:21, Tue 28 May 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6029878.

There are 4 main drains involved - 2 immediately outside No.12 (Fircones) and 2 outside No.9 on the opposite side of the road. I have tried to clear the debris within the drain, but I think that the pipes from the drain are now actually blocked with silt and general debris. The situation is not helped by the 2 drains at the Toft Rd end of Goughs Lane are also fully silted up, meaning that water from Toft Rd has to run-off and collect outside No.12 and No.9. This is a combined sewer and there have been problems in the past of foul waster water being discharged onto the road.
