Tree overgrown obscuring vision on pedestrian crossing

Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 08:34, Mon 27 May 2024

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6023814.

When travelling from Kew - Richmond, the tree in the attached pic (which is a screenshot from Google so is not as in the pic) is so overgrown the pedestrian crossing is obscured. Pedestrians cannot be seen by motorists, and motorists cannot be seen by waiting pedestrians. It needs completely trimming back and consideration needs to be given to removing the tree all together as it will overgrow again and again and the stump in itself blocks vision. It is dangerous and only a matter of time before a pedestrian is killed when legitimately crossing
