Toynbec Close - street sign on left as you enter not visible due to overgrown vegetation

Reported via mobile in the Overhanging Vegetation from private land category anonymously at 09:56, Friday 24 May 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6014994.

I believe the road sign is on the narrow stretch of land which goes across all houses in this close. It is now difficult to see the Toynbec Close sign can you tell me who's responsibility it is to keep it cut back. I think from the plans it does not belong to the owner of the adjoinng property. The overgrown trees and plants were not planted by the currrent owner and i dont think it is on their land

  • 28 days have passed. There was some initial work completed in cutting back some of the bushes that were overhanging in Beechwood Rise. However, these pictures were taken today and there has been no work undertaken and the sign is even more obscured and weeds spreading into the road with the pictures tree overhanging. Is this part of the property owned by the local authority as the pipes run all the way along through each house and the bricks are different or is it the responsibility of the owner? Please advise as to what happens next?
