Verges and hedges inhibiting the use of the only pathway on the A329

Reported via mobile by David Loveridge at 07:28, Thu 23 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6009601.

The pathway that is the only pathway on this busy road has overgrown to an extent that it is not possible to walk down safely as the policy of letting the verges grow is inhibiting the use of this pathway. There is no chance of a pushchair or wheelchair to use this walkway. The problem starts at the point by the radio mast and continues to ferry lane.

Council ref: ENQ241005259

  • Seems to me that the FixMyStreet app is just another way of stalling any action to rectify the problem. I like everyone else pay a large sum each month to service our community and get very little in the way of service. The problem is getting worse and is now creating a danger to people as the pathway is all but impassable. The pathway is the only one on this busy main road. I first posted this on the 23rd May now its 18th June and still nothing.
