• Please give brief details of your complaint or compliment below:: Good morning It’s that time of year again when I need to actually tell you to cut back the alleyways that run between The Avenue, Wickham Chase, Langley Way and Pickhurst Rise. Not only is it unsightly, but the stinging nettles are stinging the kids walking to school and it’s encouraging rats into those alleyways as they have abundant foliage to hide in. The weeds are now ridiculously high and encroaching onto the pavement making it very narrow !! I’m getting a little tired and annoyed of having to tell you to do a job that should be scheduled every 8 weeks over the spring and summer period without fail!! Weeds grow fast !!! Some of those weeds are now above hip height. Please get the alleyways cut back urgently and I really really don’t want to have to report this again. Thank you • What action (if any) would you like us to take?: Cut the weeds in alleyways • Have you already spoken to somebody in the Council about this matter?: no • If yes, and you know who you spoke to please provide details and dates:: This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve had to contact you each Spring and summer to tell you to do a job that should be scheduled every year without fail !

Morning Please can you try ensure this is carried out on a more regular basis. With the persistent rain we are having the alleyway weeds/ stinging nettles are growing very fast indeed. They will need to re-cut in August at least sometime. I’d rather not have to chase this again please.
Kind regards Darryl Ramsay
