The traffic lights at the tram stop turn to red frequently by themselves not due to pedestrians crossing

I cannot get off my drive at 270 Wilford lane due to a trail back of cars during the hours of 8.00-9.00am and 4.00-6.30pm.
It is beyond a joke the lights are not set up correctly and turn to red on their own meaning there is not flowing traffic. this needs sorting asap
