Road marking remival

GCC have been painting over the double yellow line road markings around Hillhead area, leaving cars free to park in areas that were previously marked as no parking. This is creating obstruction at road ends, making it difficult for other drivers to safely exit roads. It's also allowing parking on narrow one way streets (e.g Hillhead St), making it difficult for other drivers to navigate safely. What on earth is going on? This makes zero sense and is creating numerous problems.
