Hot food served in polystyrene cups.

Reported via mobile in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 20:03, Wednesday 15 May 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5979166.

This street is peppered with single use polystyrene cups that are sold as "Koka Noodle prepared and ready to eat" to the pupils of Hillpark Secondary School at lunchtime. I think I am right in thinking that single use polystyrene containers have been banned for use with ready to consume takeaway food . The shop that sells them is called "Target Store" situated on Hillpark Drive.

Updates

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 21:01, Wednesday 12 June 2024

  • Per the other report, the residents cleaned it all up and the school children just dropped all the litter again.

    The headmaster should be ashamed.

Closing this as the problem can be tracked on the other report.

    State changed to: Fixed
