Drain completely blocked with mud.

Sent to Chichester District Council and West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5975820.

There is a drain here that is completely blocked with mud, so no water can drain away. Whether it is blocking the drainpipe lower down is hard to tell. It certainly needs to be cleared, to prevent a blockage and other issues for nearby properties.

    The drain is completely blocked with mud, so everything it rains, that area floods.

  • I stuck a stick into the mud to see how far it goes down into the drain, and it is filled to the bottom of the drain, so this is not going to clear itself!
