Major issue with street access and prams

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 21:43, Tuesday 14 May 2024

Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5974464.

I was taking my nephew to Asda in the pram today and I had to cross a busy road because they had parked illegally. I couldn’t give through. I couldn’t give 2 hoots of they were only there after for the afternoon.you don’t own the street due to contrary belief. It’s illegal to park there. They think they are untouchable.

  • The issue is not fixed. Vans continue to block the road forcing vulnerable people including those with prams to cross possibly one of the busiest roads in Liverpool. Its an unbelievable scenario. South Liverpool has possibly one of the worst records for parking on pavements and enforcing parking restrictions in Merseyside.
