Three dead trees.
Reported via desktop in the Young Tree Requires Maintenance category anonymously at 20:52, Tuesday 14 May 2024
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5974372.
Three dead trees and one missing tree. Two dead trees on Sutherland Avenue. One just up from alley way and one near junction with Elysian. One on Elysian.
Note this was reported over a year ago. Coming in the middle of winter to inspect isnt very clever for obvious reasons. Please also plant more trees on Sutherland Avenue. Its a wide avenue which is designed for trees and there is the opportunity to have a fully treelined road,

Our qualified and experienced tree officers inspect trees all year round. On occasion, we leave the younger dead/dying trees in situ so that we can return at an appropriate time to replace them. Note that we prioritise safety critical tree works across the Borough. We kindly ask all residents who are willing and interested to water trees in addition to our crews who water them in the summer. Simple weeding and mulching around the base of the trees using the material immediately around the trees will also help increase their chances of survival and good growth. Please take all required precautions. See more info at Tree Friends (bromley.gov.uk) and Arboricultural Association - Watering young trees in dry weather
Our aim is to establish a Forest of Street Trees over the next 5 years. We appreciate the tree attention and care given by residents to ensure every tree is well established and can grow to maturity Treemendous tree planting programme underway (bromley.gov.uk)
