Public realm not reinstated

Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 14:57, Sunday 12 May 2024

Sent to Runnymede Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5962579.

The area of grass adjacent to the beautiful statue used to be cut regularly and well maintained as an asset to Chertsey. Since the roadworks, the contractors have not returned it to it’s former state. They dug it up, left a patch of mud, abandoned signage and now the weeds are growing. Can this please be returned to cut grass, as before. I anticipate this being ignored so will write to MP in the meantime.
