The weeds are growing dramatically between residents outside wall and pavements and along the road and kerbs, need cleaning

  • Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your comments have been passed to LanGuards our weed spraying contractor for their attention. The 1st weed spraying application commenced on 29th April 24 and teams will be working their way through the borough. Please allow 7-10 days for dieback to occur, the area will be cleared under normal cleansing. This report will now be closed.

  • Resident called to chase report for weeds, please can this be chased, had said a crew had come along the street but the weeds are still growing.

  • Good morning and thank you for using FMS. The 2nd boroughwide weed treatment for 2024 commenced on 1st July. We have reached out to our subcontractors and instructed them when attending to this road, to pay particular attention to the channels. Dieback should take effect 10-14 days after Lancing Road has been attended too. The local Street Cleansing Manager has also been asked to carry out a site visit to check on cleansing standards.
