Slippery muddy path and overhanging trees

This footpath is very muddy after any rain which makes it very narrow in places and extremely slippery. Please can the mud be cleared and overhanging trees cut to make it safer for the many schoolchildren which use this path between the Alton road and church to stay away from the main roads.
