Your contractor sent one man to do this two person job, ignoring manual handling regulations (25 Kg Max lift). In offloading new slabs he managed to break corner off one, hid this with concrete (which he graffitied his name in). Smaller of slabs rocks already. All in all an appalling job. I trust you will be sending contractor back, at their expense to set slab correctly (using two people) removing graffiti etched into concrete and advising your contractor they have a "Duty of Care" to their workforce.

No work to correct the appalling work conducted by "Ollo" on his own. Health and Safety at work manual handling act regulations were broken (25kg max lift by one person) and labourer graffitied his name "Ollo" into new concrete. The heavy slab which cracked when pushed off flat back van has now deteriorated. Do Bromley Council not audit their contractors following a complaint like this or is it left to the person who reported this to email H&SE directly.
