Residents car parking

Sent to Cherwell District Council 2 minutes later

There is not enough parking spaces on Kingsclere Road, I have lived here for 17 years and the volume of vehicles has dramatically increased over this time. there is a small car park in Winterbourne close opposite my house but that too is always full, it has got to the stage that I and a lot of others are having to park on the grass at Winterbourne close and it is tearing it all up causing a eyesore and a lot of mud. I have applied to Cherwell district council to see if I can use my back garden but have been refused every time as there are garages at the bottom of my garden. I'm hoping that you could either extend the car park at Winterbourne Close or start residents parking permits as this is really beyond the joke now.

  • So the day I complain the council come out, to do nothing more than plant a lovely new tree?? Seriously something has to be done, there are cars parked on both sides of the road now as well as on the grass, this is now a dangerous issue !
