Numerous dangerous potholes on Amberley Road!

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 13:08, Sun 5 May 2024

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5934618.

The potholes through Storrington resemble the craters of the moon! Amberley Road is a prime example with at least two very large 'craters' of at least four weeks duration, causing drivers to swerve to avoid them, not to mention the smaller holes just waiting to expand. You either risk causing an accident by having to cross the center white line or getting the car scratched by having to veer to the left and ending up in the shrubbery which hasn't been cut back enough, this has happened twice to me and damaged my paintwork. I'm getting more than a bit frustrated and angry about the whole road situation in West Sussex which seems to be one of the worst areas around.
