Horse on footpath
Reported via desktop in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 19:31, Sat 4 May 2024
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5933273.
Once again horse riders brazenly riding along the footpath in Eynsford Rec. Photos taken between 17.52 and 18.07 om 4/05/24 The female escort told me they are allowed to ride through to the woods and have a 'letter from the council' to this effect. She also told me that the 'no horse riding' signs were old and from 'before'! The rider approached the stables, but then turned around to allow the horse to graze by the pavilion. This felt like a final act of defiance. The state of the earth paths, churned up by horse hooves makes them dangerous for some walkers to use and curtails the enjoyment of dog walking and recreational walkers.

This is one frame.of a video of this person in the woods yet again on her horse upsetting the dogs. We use these woods specifically because of the bridle paths in Petts Wood woods and the dogs are afraid and will bark at horses. This video is this person telling me that they are allowed to use the woods as they have permission from the council. It's the same every time. Always the same lies They constantly rip down the no horses signs.
