Several very deep potholes scattered across road

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5928740.

Some of the holes have been there for a while, but are now very deep, and the surrounding road service is very pitted, there is now no way of avoiding any of the holes, and have to go over slowly. They are also dangerously close when coming around corner from Elmstead Lane, going towards Mottingham. You can't easily see them until last minute.

The location is just before and in the bus stop named Elmstead Lane, Stop Q. on Mottingham Road.

  • Thank you for your report regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.
