Recycling bin

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5927939.

For several weeks now when the recycling bins are emptied the guys are only leaving one bin for the whole close when there should be 2. This one bin fills up within 2 days making people use the general waste bin instead.

  • Each close should have 2 recycling bins and some have 3. It's not possible to drag a bin over a fence or to gain access to rear gardens of other closes.

  • The recycling bins are still not being returned to the respective buildings. Some have 3 bins, some have 1 and some don't have any. This is laziness from the cleansing as we cannot get access to other closes to return the bins and with no access to other back gardens means they are still out of sync.
