Faulty traffic light sensor

Reported in the Traffic lights category by Ryan McDonnell at 23:19, Sun 22 February 2015

Sent to Thurrock Borough Council 1 minute later

The traffic lights for the junction of the A126 and Maidstone Road (next to National Tyres building) are behaving unusually and have been for some time now. There seems to be a sensor fault with the traffic lights facing Maidstone Road, which allows the lights to stay green for 90 seconds regardless of high, low or no traffic load, significanly delaying everyone's journey for no reason and causing long queues along the A126 road during rush hour. Please investigate. If the sensors are fine then maybe some timings adjustment is needed.
