Depressions in road causing splashing onto dwelling

There are two depressions in the road outside Townsend Cottage. When it is wet these cause puddles and any traffic causes splashing onto Townsend Cottage and water flows into the house.

12 May 2015 SCC Highways reported that the road surface has been inspected and gullies cleared however they are unable to prevent the splashing as the depressions are very slight and splashing could not be prevented.

Discussed with SCC Highways. Major work to prevent flooding into Townsend Cottage is scheduled for FY16/17. Possibly ~ June 2016.

Drainage work at Townsend in Oct 2016 has reduced flood risk. This proved effective during the heavy rain falls during 20/21 Nov.
