• Please give brief details of your complaint or compliment below:: I am writing to bring to your attention an issue concerning the public right of way and access to a footpath in our area. Recent developments have taken over the former RAF estate, and a public footpath that previously provided access has now been obstructed due to the erection of a large private gate on Hanbury Drive. As you are aware, public rights of way are protected by law, and obstructing or blocking access to such pathways is a violation of the public's legal right to use them. The installation of this gate has effectively denied the community access to this long-standing footpath, which was a valuable resource for pedestrians and recreational activities. I kindly request that the appropriate authorities investigate this matter and take necessary action to restore public access to the footpath. Ensuring the preservation of public rights of way is crucial for maintaining the community's ability to move freely and enjoy the outdoor spaces in our area.
