Traffic light pole

Reported via mobile in the Traffic lights category anonymously at 21:09, Fri 26 April 2024

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5904203.

So technically they moved this no left turn traffic light head down a bit towards the junction so technically they have left this ex traffic light pole post abounded to ROT so it needs to be removed and the pole to be removed.

Updates

  • Due to the 2nd phase of the Glasgow avenues project it's unlikely that these traffic lights will remain and will most likely be replaced by newer traffic lights with nearside pedestrian lights all away along from Anderson area right down Argyle Street to the Trongate area of Glasgow City Centre and will be completed in 2026 or 2027 at least.
