"No Public Access" Signage - Harper's Green, Brisley

See the photograph. The notice is on display, just to the north of Brisley Footpath No. 2. Harper's Green is registered common land (CL66) and subject to a statutory right of public access under the Section 2(1) of the Countryside And Rights of Way Act 2000. There are no access restrictions in force (according to http://www.openaccess.naturalengland.org.uk/ ). Section 14 of the 2000 act makes it an offence for any person to place or maintain, on or near access land, a notice containing any false or misleading information likely to deter the public from exercising the statutory right of access.
